Back in 1988, I wrote a prelude, an interlude and a coda for my album "Sing Once Again." The track "Paint A Portrait Of Me" was meant to be the prelude, but it was placed as the last track of the album. "Flip To Another Side" was the interlude. This song "I Don't Get Me" was meant to be the coda, but it was not included in the album, so the structure of this trilogy was lost.

In fact, these 3 songs are integral. In the coda, the prelude and the interlude reappear, providing whispers echoing on both sides.

In 2008, this album got re-issued on CD. I took this opportunity to re-record this song and include it in the CD as a bonus track. The trilogy was finally complete.
