The melody was written at a low point in my life. The original demo was a ballad with only piano and vocals. A few years later, I asked my friend James to write lyrics for this melody. By then, I was in a totally different mood. Before I recorded the song, a new idea popped into my head to rearrange it. I added a drum track with dance beats. The song went from a ballad to a dance track.
